Welcome to Glasgow Life's Number Ninjas course!
Our aim is to help you to have fun with your P1 - P3 child as they realise a love and aptitude for numbers.
You will learn about some of the concepts they will see in school. We provide links to games and videos from the BBC and other websites that are dedicated for children. We hope you enjoy them and go on to explore the many other resources out there.
The material we will show you is digital. However, you may not want your child to be using a screen. We hope that we can give you ideas for creating these games using whatever you have to hand.
The course covers: Reading and writing numbers, counting and place value, addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, time and money.
As each section covers P1 - P3, the material gets more advanced as you work through it. We've devised a star system to indicate levels P1 to P3.
