Activity Information
Glasgow Libraries now have a network of free coding clubs where kids can learn how to be creative with code, while having fun and making new friends. We have a registration page where you can see which libraries have clubs and register for ticket links to be emailed to you when available. NOTE: The coding clubs run in school term time only.
You can read the latest news on our Blog.
What is a CoderDojo?
Our clubs are part of the CoderDojo community which has clubs around the world and is part of the Code Club network. Young coders start off by following simple instructions on how to make games and animations with Scratch, a block-based programming language developed specially for children and beginners. As they progress, they move on to making web pages and programming in Python and other real-world languages.
In the Moving Image Archive run by National Library of Scotland at Kelvin Hall.
