5th September: Glasgow Libraries
Enjoy a welcoming chat led by your local library staff and discover a world of books, e-books, audiobooks, events and resources. You can also learn about the unique collections and services on offer at the Mitchell Library, one of the largest public libraries in Europe.
Friday 12th September Make it Glasgow
Creative Community Workshop at Possil Library
Join us at Be Well @Possil Library for a series of creative workshops celebrating our community's people, stories and history. These free sessions are open to everyone-whether you're brand new to to art or already love getting creative.
Together we'll
- Make clay tiles, drawings and collages that reflect our local heritage and landscape
- take part in artist talks and "show and tell" sessions on Glasgow's pottery history
- Explore our area through visual mapping and storytelling
- Enjoy the benefits of creativity for wellbeing and connection
- Work with Make it Glasgow to transform our designs into permanent ceramic murals for public spaces
This is your chance to make, share and leave a lasting mark in Possil.

Friday 19th September : Community based adult learning
A fun creative engagement programme for adult learners who want to improve their health and wellbeing improve confidence, meet others and just have fun by simply stepping back into learning in a fun interactive way.
26th September and 3rd October : Help with Benefits and Budgeting
Need help managing your money? We can guide you through claiming benefits online, finding better paid work, and organising your household budget. Come along for a drop-in chat and find out what support is available.
10th and 17th October: Help with Technology
Need help with technology? We can show you how to use your phone, tablet, or computer, get online, send emails, fill in forms, and more. Come along for drop-in support or join short sessions to build your skills.
